Design Architect, inception to completion.
Designed for a family of four, this renovation of the upper two floors of a turn of the century Brownstown is located in a Landmarked district of Carnegie Hill on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York. Work included the addition of a new wood and steel stair to provide circulation between floors and new skylights located above the stair and kitchen spaces providing light to both floors. The open plan upper floor provides a family gathering and work space and entertainment space. Bedrooms are located on the private lower level with large sliding doors providing flexibility to the children’s bedroom/play spaces.
